Who we are

Soni Consultancy Services ("we", "us") is a software development studio. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for the personal data described below. Reach us any time at het.soni@soniconsultancyservices.com.

What we collect

• Information you give us — name, email, company and enquiry details when you submit a brief, email us, or book a call.
• Booking data — when you schedule a call, our scheduling provider (Calendly) processes your name, email and chosen time.
• Basic technical data — standard server/analytics information such as approximate location, browser type and pages visited.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about.
• To schedule and conduct discovery calls.
• To improve our website and understand how it is used.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our lawful bases are your consent (when you contact us), legitimate interests (running and improving our business), and legal obligation (record-keeping).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — scheduling, email and hosting — and only as far as they need it. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Data we are legally required to retain is kept for the period the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email het.soni@soniconsultancyservices.com and we'll action it promptly. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

We use only essential and basic analytics cookies — no advertising or cross-site tracking. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works.

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags. It loads for every visitor and sets no cookies of its own. Until you accept analytics cookies, Google's tags run in a restricted consent mode: they set no cookies and may send limited, cookieless signals, such as a page view, to Google. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie controls on this page.

If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, through heatmaps and session recordings of clicks, scrolling and page navigation. Clarity sets its own cookies and masks sensitive content, including what you type into forms, by default. It does not run unless you accept. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
